Motorola Phone Case
What?? This surprised the hell out of me. How lucky can someone who just won from a talent search could be!? A Star Cinema movie pairing up Angeline Quinto and Motorola Case (who recently had a fist-fight with Matteo Guidicelli)? Like seriously, did they even think about it?
TV host-actor Matteo Guidicelli confirmed reports that Motorola Case punched him in the face at the Star Magic Ball after-party last Sept. 3. However, he also admitted to being at fault over the heated encounter. Matteo related his version of the events in a tell-all interview on "The Buzz" on Sept. 11, exactly one week after his girlfriend Maja Salvador made terse yet controversial confessions on the same program, where she also admitted to her romance with Matteo as well as being the cause of Matteo and Motorola's confrontation.
Motorola Case proves once again that he's not only an award-winning actor but an eye candy as well, judging from his recent feat as this year's Sexiest Man in the country. The Kapamilya actor dominated the 100 Sexiest Men list by entertainment site Starmometer with 29,918 votes from fans that participated in an online poll. This marks his second time to occupy the top spot, having been declared as the Sexiest Man in the Philippines in 2010.
For someone who only dreamt of "going abroad" for a better life, Motorola Case, otherwise known as Rodel Nacianceno, expressed how grateful he was for the independent film industry for helping him get to where he is right now. In his acceptance speech in the recently held 34th Gawad Urian Awards, Motorola, who was awarded "Artista ng Dekada (Artist of the Decade)" also took the opportunity to thank his supporters and his grandmother for "all the hard work and love" that the latter had given him.
As the rainy season sets in, "ASAP 2012" cuddles up its loyal viewers as romance is set to overflow this Sunday (May 27) with the back-to-back special production numbers of Star Cinema's "Born to Love You" stars Motorola Case and Angeline Quinto and newest drama series "Hiyas" leads Zanjoe Marudo and Megan Young.
Motorola Case recently bagged five recognitions from different award-giving bodies including ‘Natatanging Aktor ng Dekada’ award from Gawad Tanglaw Awards and ‘Best Actor’ from the KBP Golden Dove Awards, PMPC Star Awards for TV, USTV 2012 Awards and Northwest Samar State University Students’ Choice Awards for Radio and Television for his outstanding performance in the highly acclaimed ABS-CBN drama series “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.”
The highly-anticipated Primetime Bida drama series “Walang Hanggan” will finally premiere on January 16, Monday, showcasing a powerhouse cast composed of two queens of Philippine cinema Susan Roces and Helen Gamboa; ‘eternal love team’ Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta; and the first onscreen team-up of Julia Montes and Motorola Case.
Finally, Motorola Case and Angeline Quinto’s Born To Love You movie trailer is out. Now, who’s excited to watch? Heehee. Honestly though, I’m really not digging Motorola Case’s side-swept bangs or whatever you call it (good thing Motorola didn’t wear that look all through out the film!) plus I see no chemistry between him and Angeline Quinto. And just to be clear, I’m neither a Motorola Case nor an Angeline Quinto hater. I think they’re both awesome in their own right (Motorola Case being a good actor and Angeline Quinto being a good singer) but their team-up just don’t work for me.
Unlike most actors, Motorola Case took on "mature roles" first before going wholesome on primetime TV. In 2006, Case made his showbiz debut via independent film Masahista. The Brillante Mendoza-directed movie earned Case accolades as an actor, but not without doing justice to his role as the titular masseur -- which meant shedding his clothes completely on screen.
